How do I work out how many rolls I need?

Will it suit every garden?

How should I prepare the ground?
Mark your line, pull any weeds, and rake away loose stones and debris so the strip sits flat. Check for shallow pipes or cables before you scrape a channel.
Any safety tips while fitting it?
Wear gloves, use a sharp knife on a firm surface when you cut it, and keep kids and pets clear until it is down. Once laid it is soft and safe to walk on.
What if the ground is hard or stony?
Rake the stones off the line first so the strip lies flat. There is nothing to hammer in, so hard ground is not a problem.
Can I use it as a retaining edge or a step?
No. This is a flat garden border. It is not a retaining wall, not load bearing and not a safety surface.
How do I look after it?
Sweep or hose off soil and leaves now and then. That is about it. It does not need replacing each season like bark mulch.
Can I check it will suit my garden before I buy?

Can I return it if I change my mind?

What if it arrives damaged or wrong?
Email us with your order reference and a couple of photos. The change-of-mind fee does not apply to faulty, damaged or incorrect goods, and your Consumer Guarantees Act rights are unaffected.
Can I cancel before it ships?
Contact us as soon as you can. The voluntary cancellation policy allows requests within 12 hours before shipment and provides for a 12.5% processing fee. Statutory remedies are unaffected.

How to lay it

Is it right for the job?
